Aligátoři Znojmo – Posledný Strikeout 2017 – participants introduction

First team from Moravia to introduce is Aligátoři Znojmo. We first met at PIBC in Prague. This first meet was not very friendly, but step-by-step we became good friends (after few beers all goes better, right?… 🙂 ). Since 2013 we met also in Jihomoravský přebor (league we play) and in april this year we had our pre-season camp in Kuchařovice, where perfect service was provided.

Aligátoři Znojmo, team from South Moravia was founded in 1990 and 1991 season was their first in history. After three seasons getting experiences Aligátoři were able to advance to Moravian baseball league – second highest league in Czech Republic. They did very good and keep fighting for top positions for many years. Almost made it to Extraleague. But, as many players grew up and moved away, in 2000 team decided to step down to Jihomoravský přebor, cause this league is not time-consuming. in JMOP team played until 2014, when another players ended their career. Decision was clear: leave official leagues of ČBA.

Few National junior team players grew up in Znojmo, as well as couple seniors. Nowadays, team is playing tournaments and this year, they would like to show their skills, sense of humor and good mood in every circumstances also at Posledný Strikeout in Bratislava.
